“Email Use On The Increase”

Hi Everyone

Yes, email use is on the increase.

Whilst many people are wary about unsolicited emails and use protective email filters the actual use of email is increasing not diminishing.

The reason behind all the increase is SOCIAL MEDIA.

The use of Facebook and Twitter and other media sites has seen a proliferation of contact between people and groups.

and…

when people wish to converse privately they are opting for email.

This could be via special direct email from social media platforms or via exchanging their personal email addresses.

You see…

Email is still the preferred method to receive communication between friends.

plus…

it’s free, it’s immediate, it’s engaging and it’s simple to access & use.

Now what businesses should understand is; email is the best way to help your marketing efforts .

Your clients will  be responsive if you have built a relationship with them.

Email marketing is about your:

1. List

2. The Relationship you have with your list and;

3. The offer you are making to them.

Do not be put off by contacting your customers via email.  Done correctly it will increase sales and profits and cement relationships.

“How To Get Into Email Marketing Now”

Hi Everyone
I had someone asking me about what we do so I thought I’d put this together for  you.
Email marketing is the most cost effective way to market
a businesses products and services.

Once employed it is a great complement and additive to any marketing strategy.

There a 3 options I can recommend.

Option 1.

Our internet based program which is built and maintained in Australia and
all emails go through our servers in Brisbane.

This program is highly user friendly and comes with video training.
We are also only a phone call away for help.

I charge an upfront set-up fee which builds your own unique email marketing software program and you can load up as many email lists and names etc. as you wish.

It is also a comprehensive autoresponder system as well as giving capabilities to place sign-on boxes on you web page.

Our program comes with me working with you for

a) Training you to use the program

b) Helping you with email marketing messages for 12 months.

These contacts are via my mobile and email and I am happy to edit and critique all emails before you send them.

The win here is you get me to work and coach you for 12 months to make sure you master email marketing.

Option 2.

There are programs which are internet based and serve out of the USA which
I know are pretty reliable.

They are Aweber and GetResponse.

These programs work fine and both have their degree of difficulty to learn and downsides.

But they have a fairly good reputation.

You can use these, sometimes there is a trial period etc. and then they operate on a low monthly fee.

Both programs put you at the mercy of their servers and deliverability etc., which means you get placed in a queue and take your turn when your messages get sent.

Mostly this will occur within a decent time-frame although I have had a business colleague wait 24 hours recently to have their email sent and missed an opportunity they were looking to exploit.

Any problems need to go through an email and wait for a response to be sent back.

Option 3.

Is option 1 plus but we send the emails out for you and charge a fee per email.

This fee is depending on whether we are writing the email or just editing it.

Option 1 & 3 is available only to those who use our system.

It was Option 3 where I recently made $39,000 for a client in 3 days after
his efforts had only made him $500 ‘tops’ before.

Email Marketing Spend to ‘Be Increased’

“As online advertising spend continues to grow, two out of every five businesses are planning to increase their email marketing budget.

New research conducted by Round2 Communications claims that email marketing expenditure at 40 per cent of firms will rise in the near future, while 50 per cent expect to keep spending on the channel at the same level it is currently held at.

The report, which was highlighted by WebProNews.com, said that 15.4 per cent of firms are also planning on boosting their direct marketing expenditure.

Meanwhile, Sean Hurley, a marketing industry analyst, said firms planning on increasing the number of HTML email newsletters that they circulate to subscribers should bear in mind that their success hinges on the quality of the content they deliver.

He noted that a business should focus on hitting its target audience with relevant email marketing messages to ensure they are not unnecessarily losing subscribers.”

Don’t Make These 3 Email Marketing Mistakes

Hi Everyone

I received a query from a friend and client who was a little disturbed
his email “open rates” were low and his “bounce rates” were high from a recent marketing email he sent out.

I looked at his campaign and agreed.

He made 3 common email marketing mistakes.

Email Mistake Number 1
Firstly, for his bounced emails we need to look at them individually and
discover why they bounced.

His previous method of sending emails never allowed him to view
bounced emails. The program he now has can.

By viewing ‘bounced’ emails you can clean up your list.

In fact I know many of the addresses he was using needed ‘cleaning’
up months ago. Unfortunately this was never done.

So, although the email addresses appear correct there are many reasons
why emails bounce. Often included in the bounced email message is why.

What I do is create an excel spreadsheet – look at the bounced email
and see if this address requires to be taken out of the list.

If so I place it in the spreadsheet and remove in bulk.

As for the OPEN rate this will be higher when you take into account
or take away the bounced emails. This will increase the percentage.

Then I looked at his email.

Email Marketing Mistake Number 2
The Email Subject did not inspire anyone to open it. It contained a
bland subject line, and the recipients’ first name was omitted.

These are two crucial elements to get your emails opened.

By having a bland Subject Line many people would have just read it in the
preview frame and most probably deleted the email.

Email Marketing Mistake Number 3
The email also was void of a headline in main body. It acts as a
gateway or entrance into your main message.

In Summary
Sending emails is an art – it shouldn’t be used to get something
out there without following the true, tried and tested 7 Killer Tips I have written about in my book “7 Killer Tips To Get Your Emails Read”.

It appears my friend had forgotten the lessons I taught him.

“Sorry to blunt buddy”;  I said to him when telling him this.

There’s a couple of things he can do to get better responses and actions to
his email.

1. Look at each email which bounced and dis.cover why.

2. Rewrite the email to the appropriate standards.

“The Missing 7th Gangbuster Tip To Get You Ready For Christmas”

Last week I posted tips to get you ready for your
Christmas sales.

Well, I left one out,

or…

in essence I saved the BEST until last

because…

by far it will be the BEST tip you will ever receive.

You see, the whole point about marketing is
to find a market which:

  • desires and craves your products and services;
  • has the ability to pay; and
  • is willing to pay.

So, if you have done your research with your client list then
there is no better way to help them make a decision to buy
then to SHOW them your products and service.

You can do this by flyers, brochures, websites, articles
all which are excellent.

For me though the best way and the best tip is to:

  • show them by video.

You can do this in many ways.

You can take a short video via a digital camera and edit it through
Windows Movie Maker (all free).  Then post it to You Tube
and send them the link – again – ALL FREE.

You can engage or hire a company to do it for you

or ask the 12 year old next door to help (don’t ya love the way they
know this stuff.)

but…

depending on your degree of skill and experience or if you don’t
have a 12 year old next door then these options are not viable.

Well, here is another way.

then you can create a five minute video quickly, easily and free.
