A friend asked me the other day, how I come up with content for my Email Marketing.
The answer once known is easily teachable if you follow a simple system, it should work for you too.
Before you write a word you must be able to satisfy these 5 questions in the recipients mind.
1. Who Are You ?
2. What Do You Want ?
3. Why Should I Care ?
4. What’s In It For Me (W.I.I.F.M.)Â Â and
5. What Do I Do Now?
You need to appreciate you will be an intrusion in someone’s day so be prepared to give them useful information.
It won’t matter what line of work you are in – it’s these 5 questions people want answered when they receive correspondence in any form.
So get to it, make sure when you send out an email, post a letter, create a video or make that telephone call you know you should you can answer these 5 questions.
