How Effective is Your Website at Making Money?

When I ask people how their websites are doing they invariably tell me they ‘look’ great. When I ask them, “How much money are you making from it.” They often say, “I don’t know.”

Hmmm…

Most people are looking at making money from their websites yet they are struggling to put together the necessary pieces of the puzzle to do it. It seems they are often at the mercy of designers and I.T. people on how their site looks and what’s displayed on it.

Let me help with a theory and then a tool you can use.

Firstly:

To become successful, whether it is in life or to have increased income oozing from your website, it is necessary to have all the Six Circles of Success in place. They are:

1. Knowledge – without it you don’t know what to do. We simply don’t know what we don’t know;
2. Skill – you need to turn the knowledge into a skill or at least engage somebody to do what you wish to do. If you don’t ACTION the knowledge nothing changes;
3. Desire – many people have the knowledge and skill yet, they are not prepared to action or do it? They can’t be bothered. Are you one of those?The world is littered with people who have the knowledge and the skill to do things, however some just don’t desire it. So then, what controls DESIRE?DESIRE is a complex animal and it is about how our mind is programmed. Let’s look at the last three circles of success. You will need these in place if you wish to become successful.
4. Self Image – How do you see yourself? Are you happy? Are you comfortable with yourself? How is the reflection in the mirror? Is it showing you someone you like to look at?
5. Self Esteem – How do you feel about yourself? Are you true to your value system? Are you feeling ticketyboo? Is your head held high? Are you the person you wish to be?
6. Self Talk – What is the little person inside your head saying? Are you saying positive thoughts to yourself? Are you controlling your negative ideas and replacing them with ones which will bring you the success you desire.
   These last three circles, Self Image, Self Esteem and Self Talk will bring together what we call your Self Worth. And if you are not worthy of yourself do not expect others to be.

To become successful it is not just one circle you need. You need ALL six to be in unison.

Well, everything…
