Day 3 Sunday 21st October 2007
With over 30 hours marketing tips and techniques poured into my head I was still anxious to absorb more.
The line-up of speakers Mal Emery had for us didn’t subside.
Rick Otten, a property guru led the Sunday charge. His program shows how you can be the middle man in a property deal that could net you tens and tens of thousands of dollars. The Pied Piper of Property had them signing up for his seminar in droves.
Like most of the American speakers Rich Schefren had everyone in awe. He is known as the internet coach of coaches. “Visbililty Trumps Ability” was one of Rich’s messages and he showed us how to become more visible in our chosen market. I have pages and pages of notes from Rich which will keep me busy over the next few weeks deciphering and implementing.
Paul Hartunian came back for another session after lunch on Sunday. Paul showed us the tactic of obtaining Reprint and Master rights to products. A tactic I will certainly pursue.
An interesting bloke called Mike Filsaime came next. Mike dressed in a casual t-shirt and came across as a average bloke who trained himself how to crack internet marketing. A car sales manager Mike was asked to decide if he wanted sell cars or be on the internet by his Regional Manager. Having thought Mike would have to choose to sell cars imagine the shock he received when Mike said shivering with self belief and anxiety, “It’s been a fun five years.” Three years later Mike has 20 odd staff and turns overs millions and millions of dollars. He announced his retirement from platform speaking as he wishes to spend more time with his family. He will be missed on the circuit. At least I can say I’ve written down th golden nuggets he revealed before he retired to building his wealth from his office.
