Email Marketing: 5 Birthday Subject Lines To Use

Hi Everyone

One of the best email marketing campaigns which will delight your customers and bring cash into your business is the “Birthday Campaign.”

Birthday campaigns are a sure fire winner.

These can be set in advance using your email sending provider and programmed automatically.

Be very sincere with your email marketing gifts too.  Don’t expect people to jump at a poor offering.

If you are going to give a gift on someone’s birthday give them a meaningful gift.

My clients who have dining rooms, restaurants etc. are encouraged to give away a free meal in the week surrounding a client’s birthday.

Not many people dine alone on their birthday so don’t be afraid to give away a free meal and maybe a drink.

If they do dine alone then surely the custom they give you during the year would be sufficient to allow them this special gift.

To help attract them into your business here are  five birthday subject lines which are known to be email marketing success stories.

  • Happy Birthday (First Name)
  • Your Special Birthday Bonus Inside
  • A special gift of (add your own number) % off for your birthday
    (i.e. 20%)
  • Happy Birthday From (Your Business Name) and
  • (First Name) A special Gift For Your Birthday

This last one is my favourite.

It doesn’t matter what product or service you use.  Your customers will be delighted with the thought you give.

Whichever subject line you choose to use in your email marketing make sure you make the offer something worthwhile to honour their special day.

Hi Everyone

This tip, though plainly obvious, is the TOP, BEST, FUNDAMENTAL tip I can give you to get more subscribers.

Now before I do, I am not suggesting at all any of the other brilliant methods available to you won’t work.

No, not at all.

What I am suggesting is without this TIP you are causing yourself immeasurable harm.

You are causing yourself to fall down the well and risk drowning in a couple of feet of water.

But feel saved.

Because I am about to grab that heavily knotted rope, toss  over the side of the well for you to grab hold off it, place it around your waist and allow me to pull you out.

Are you ready then?

The TOP, BEST, FUNDAMENTAL tip to gain more subscribers is to have a sign-up box on your website.

One which gives away free information and in return a person leaves their First Name and Email Address.

You will get more subscribers by having a sign-up box visible with a useful free item which has value.

Email Marketing: Subject Lines and Pre-Headers

Subject Lines and Email Pre-Headers

If you wish to be recognised by your email recipients make sure you
include your name, brand or company in the subject line.

People open up emails from those they trust and respect.

Research tells us emails which clearly reveal the name of the sender
have more open rates than those which do not.

Another tip is to use a email content subject line or what is commonly known as an email pre-header.

The pre-header enables recipients who have opened the email to make a
quick and easy decision if they wish to read further.

The email pre-header could contain the email subject line again or it
could contain a link to a website you wish your recipients to be taken to.

The link is very useful for people who read their emails via Smartphones.

Most email programs these days allow the recipient to read emails in a preview frame.  This means a person doesn’t need to click on your email to open it.  They can simply preview the email to see if they wish to view.

With this in mind it is essential to get to the point about your email.

A way this can be done if you would like to tell a story first is to create
a curiosity line like:

“I have a special Mother’s day offer for you for being my client…but first”

Another tip if you wish to include images in your email is to name them so
if they are blocked people can still read the name and know what should have appeared there.

Don’t label your images as numbers or symbols as these will
mean nothing to your recipients.

Email marketing is the most cost effective and and quickest means to get your message out to your customers.

But…

It requires consistency and persistency.

Don’t give up otherwise everything you did before was wasted.
