Email Marketing: Is NEVER just one email.

Email Marketing is NEVER just one email.  Plan a series of them.

Email Marketing: The Most Asked Question Is…

The most asked question I receive from my clients is:
“What Do I Write In My Emails?”

They get confused and anxious and some do nothing.

So let me add to the Email Planner and Email Step Diagram
I sent you in the last couple of weeks and give you your next tip
to writing money-making, dollar driving emails.

To overcome the difficulty of deciding what to write, simply look
at the 8 different emails report.
http://www.kurtjohansen.com/8emailoffer/

For instance, inside you will see:
Email Type Two:  Discuss a Special Event/Holiday.

With this type of email you would discuss ‘Australia Day’ this Thursday or
prepare a series of emails for Valentine’s Day on the 14th February.

The idea is to seque into an event or a holiday and piggy back off the back
of it.

Knowing what to write can be daunting but if you follow my ‘There Are Only
8 Different Types Of Emails’ you WILL be Ok.

Email Marketing: More Free Help In 2012

In my last email I included an email step diagram which
can be used to plan most of your email campaigns.

The feedback I received from the email step diagram was
phenomenal with many people asking for further assistance to
help them decide what to write in their emails.

Well, without getting into copywriting there is a report/e-book I
wrote which outlines there are ONLY 8 Different Types Of Emails
you can write.

The 8 different types are listed with examples of each.  It’s a no-brainer,
self help, easy to follow email marketing manual which will make your
email marketing results explode like the Sydney Harbor Bridge on
New Year’s Eve.

And…

I’m giving it away.

Here is a link you can get it from but you must subscribe first.
http://www.kurtjohansen.com/8emailoffer/
It won’t cost you anything but you do go into a list so I can manage
how many fre.e reports have been downloaded.

Use this report in 2012.

It will help you when your mind goes all blank and you think you
have nothing to say.

If you would like more help there are coaching levels on my website.

Email Marketing: How I Made My Wife Cry

Hi

“How I Made My Wife Cry”

But first…

Life’s a funny game at times, isn’t it?

You strive to do your best. You attempt every imaginable trick
to gain knowledge, wisdom and success.

But sometimes it just alludes you.

You think, “Is it me?” “Am I doing something wrong?”
“Why is the world doing this to me?”

You ponder, “I am honest, I work hard, so what’s wrong with me?”

If you have ever been in this position then you are not alone.

Many people want more in life.

The successful one’s understand you cannot do it alone though.
To be successful you need to have people around you that can help
you achieve your dreams. People who can help you move towards
your passion.

If you are struggling to get where you wish to be it may be because
you haven’t reached out to the right person yet.

Look around you they will be there. If not; you may need to look further
afield or broaden your horizon. There will be a willing hand somewhere.

If it’s email marketing help you need a hand with take a look at the different
coaching plans I have:

Coaching Level KJ: Lite

Coaching Level KJ: Deluxe

Coaching Level KJ: The Motherlode

What I have discovered over they years as a business consultant is
it’s all about relationships.

For emailing you need to have three key elements in play:

  1. The List;
  2. The Relationship with your list; and
  3. The Offer you are making.

Life is so much the same. You have to have these three elements in
play too.

Let’s now seque back to the start.

So…

How Did I Make My Wife Cry?

I just used the three key elements I use for email marketing.

Eiffel Tower

1. The List in this instance is my Wife;

2. The Relationship is 25 years of Marriage; and

3. The Offer is 10 day holiday in Paris and a booking
at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant; including “privileged
seating by the window with Trocadéro view” on the
night of our 25th wedding anniversary.

Simple isn’t it.

Make sure you prepare to make your ‘list’ emotional in 2012 too.

Email Marketing: How to build your list, quickly.

"How do I build my list?" is always on the minds of internet marketers.
It's by far the most puzzling riddle most people fail to solve quickly.
But for me...

This is the WRONG question to ask.

You should be focussing on:
'How do I get my name out in front of more prospective buyers quickly?'

Let me explain.
List building is fine but is everyone joining your lists going to be buyers?
It really shouldn't be about attracting a herd of people but attracting
the right people to your business. Ones that are receptive to your
offers and ones who wish to create and maintain a relationship with you.
To actively seek the right people and the right connection take a look
around you and see if there is another merchant whom your clients could
do business with.
Because...

The fastest way to jump out in front of more people is to jointly
market with another like-minded and complementary business.
That is; to be introduced by another business to their lists in a
reciprocal marketing marriage.

You do this by approaching another business who has a product or
service which your client base should be attacted to and offer to send
out an email introducing them. In return they do the same for you.

If you are into direct mail (and you should be as well as email
marketing) this is often done with the business being introduced
'writing and paying the postage' for the privilege.

The on-line world is agast with 'affiliate programs' and they work
wonders. But I am not suggesting this is an affiliate program.
It's an introductory program whereby you are introduced as a sound
and responsible business person who has products and services which
may be of interst to another person's lists.

You will get exposure you never had before and if your offers are
valuable, than your lists will build.
Certainly faster than many methods being touted over the internet.

Old fashioned style marketing of reciprocal introductions still works
today.

It also helps overcome the biggest fear all new prospects have; which
is TRUST.

When you are introduced by someone who is already trusted by their
crowd your introduction will be welcomed.

So get to it and start writing out a list of businesses you know who
have products and services which complement your customers' desires.
It could be businesses in the same group of shops as you.
It could be businesses who have stalls in the local market.
It could be other internet marketing friends who could introduce you
as a trusted and honest person.
It doesn't really matter - they will be there if you look.

Email Marketing: I can teach you to write emails that sell

Hi

One of the great achievements in the last 25 years is the creation of EMAIL.
It’s been used, abused,  buried, slowly killed off but still very much exists.

A recent report showed over 50% of people have fessed up they will read their emails
whilst on holidays in the coming weeks.

Why do you think this is so?

Most likely because it has become ingrained in them to do so and also because they
receive emails via their mobile phones.

Many of these emails  will be deleted but a few will resonate with them and force them
to take action.

Over the years I have been email marketing I have learned How To Write Emails That
Sell and I can teach you too.

Over to the right I have three different levels of coaching.  If you are ready to make
more money in your business using this cost effective means of advertising then click
on one of them.

My KJ Lite, KJ Deluxe and KJ Motherlode are aimed at helping everyone from the new
novice to more experienced business person.

And I can help you too.

Email Marketing: Do You Change Your Emails For Mobile Users?

I’ve discovered the necessity to change emails to satisfy mobile phone users is best left only to a include a worthwhile subject line or meaningful first sentence.

People who read emails via mobile phones are wanting quick, fast, accurate information.

Those people who are now reading emails via tablets generally are less time poor and can spend a little more time as their tablet is often on a table or a desk (as opposed to mobile phone users who have their devise in their hands whilst walking).

So for me email marketing is really moving only from PC to tablet – and what this means is the same rules always applied. 1. The List 2. The Relationship and 3. The Offer. You don’t have to make your email marketing messages look like catalogue/brochures – engage your customers.

I have been following the trends of emails for four years.

Three years ago everyone was saying, “Change your emails to satisfy

mobile phone users.”

Whilst it made initial sense, I always thought the psychology was wrong.

People who read emails on their phones are generally looking for a quick communication fix. Read, Delete, Read, Delete etc.

We wish to engage people so I am suggesting you don’t need to specifically craft emails for the mobile user. Except to have a quick 2-3 second capture and this can be done by using a brilliant subject line or email heading.

Email Marketing: It’s Not Too Late To Send Christmas Emails

Hi

As Christmas is approaching I would like to give you a gift.

Now this is no ordinary gift.

It is a gift which, if embraced, understood and implemented, will
transform your business overnight.

But first…

I would like to be brutally open, transparent and honest with you.

Like most people on my lists you have been receiving my
emails for awhile.

Sure you would not have read every email but every now and then one
jumps straight off the page and makes your heart pump a little faster.
You may fight it but you click on the email through curiosity or need.

I have been helping businesses in a multitude of different products and
services for around 4 years now and I am regarded as Australia’s Leading
Email Marketing Strategist.

But more so I have been a business coach for over 20 years and this gives me
the authority and the courage to say this about your email marketing.

It probably…

SUCKS !

Now, before you go and get all defensive and uppity at me, if you look in
the mirror and stare at the reflection you know you could do better; don’t you.

But you know what – it’s NOT YOUR FAULT.

Gees, if you are like most people in business you don’t have time to think about
marketing. You don’t have time to put together a list of names and compile a
message do you.

You are too busy opening the doors, answering the phones, watching over your
staff, stocking the shelves, doing your bookkeeping, putting out bushfires…

Whoooaaa… it’s tiring stuff being in business.

You’re too busy working in your business.

I know many of these jobs need to be done but so does another one.
And it’s more important if you wish your business to succeed…

It’s Marketing.

So Kurt, let me help you.

Every now and then I work with a limited number of businesses to transform
their marketing into a cash bonanza and drive dollars into their inbox.

I call it my 5 x 5 x 5.5 Promotion.

Let me explain…

I work with 5 businesses to help craft and send out 5 emails for $550.

That’s right.

You could be one of the lucky 5 business who gets the oppor-tunity to pick
my brain, work side-by-side of me, as I hold your hand, and help create an
Email Marketing Campaign for you which will be the envy of your competitors,
knock the socks off your customers and catapult cash into your bank account.

Now I can only work with 5 businesses at a time. This is because I wish to give
you my undivided attention.

I help strategise, craft and schedule 5 emails for you.

And…This could be you too.

======================================================

November is my new ‘best month’ ever and there’s still 10 days to go!

Sarah: Hoity Toity – Fun Baby Wear

======================================================
I have offered 5 x 5 x 5.5 Promotion twice over the past month’s and they’re
going gangbusters !

Now as Christmas approaches it’s time to lock in your Christmas email marketing
campaigns.

But don’t despair if you can’t use the 5 x 5 x 5.5 Promotion for Christmas.

I have one new lovely client in Perth who is using the 5 x 5 x 5.5 Promotion
to craft messages for the launch of her revitalised membership site.
Watch this SPACE !

But I must warn you.

I only work with 5 businesses to ensure I give each one my unbridled attention.
And as I am currently working on a campaign with a lovely person from Perth
there are only four spots available.

So if you need a hand getting the Christmas campaigns out there then contact me.
Contact me at kurt@johanseninternational.com.au or via my
