Gees, it’s probably the furthest thing from your mind right now.


If you don’t start thinking about Father’s Day now you
may miss out on this very important day in sales.

You see, although retail spending is at a low, I bet there will
be an abundant amount of money gleefully taken out wallets and
directed towards keeping father’s happy.

Don’t despair if you have not thought about Father’s Day yet.

I am here to help.

Here is a Marketing Template Schedule You Can Use.

So grab your pen and write this down. That way it will be in front
of you for the next few weeks.

Firstly, you need to plan your marketing to finish on Father’s Day.

In Australia, Father’s Day  falls on the first Sunday in September,
(the 2nd of September 2012)

Let’s call this your Email Marketing Campaign Finish Day.”


You need to work backwards, weekly, and decide how many emails
you may wish to send before the Campaign Finish Day.

I like to commit to at least a minimum of a four-email campaign.

For example…

If your Campaign Finish Day is the 2nd September (Father’s Day), then you
have the week’s commencing Monday 13th August (today), 20th August,
and Monday 27th August to send emails.

If you wish a four-email campaign, then you will need a schedule another to
fit the fourth email in.

Confusing?  Let me help.

If you wish to send four emails the schedule would look like:

  • Email One – send week commencing – Monday 13th August (today);
  • Email Two – send week commencing – Monday 20th August;
  • Email Three – send week commencing – Monday 27th August;
  • Email Four – send the Friday before Father’s Day – 31st August.

All of these emails are to be centred around the theme, Father’s Day.
