Email Marketing – How Often? It Depends…

I am often asked, “How often should I send out email marketing messages.”

and the simple answer is…


Yes, it all depends on the outcome you are trying to achieve and the relationship you have with your list.

Let me explain.

If you have a launch of a new product, service or opening of a new store then it would be natural to have a number of lead up emails letting your customers know.

If you are letting them know about a change in your business then maybe a lesser campaign would be best suited.

In an old sales term we used to say, “Persistence beats Resistance.”
And whilst this could be true to an extent, we need to be careful with email marketing.

Too much can be just that TOO MUCH.

Know what your strategy is, know what your list will tolerate and above all KNOW both to the nth degree.
