Father’s Day Adverts Revisited

Last week’s post about Father’s Day adverts provided some funny comments from my recipients as well as achieving near record-breaking open/read and clickthrough rates.

The point I wish to make today is provide your email recipients with worthwhile information they can use and don’t try to sell them something with every email.

Email Marketing is about:

  1. The List;
  2. The Relationship;
  3. The Offer.

Make sure you build a relationship with your recipients first.  i.e. Earn their friendship and respect before you place a product or service in front of them.
