Free – “How To Write Christmas Email Campaigns”

Did you know…

The majority of customers need help to buy presents.

Sure; some may have already started their Christmas shopping

but…

many would not have.

Plus…

there is always ‘that relative’ who is proving to be a ‘headache’ – or ‘NIGHTMARE’ to buy for.

So what can you do to help customers in this predicament?

The major thing to do is to start to look at your email lists and decide what products and services you can offer them.

Try to think:

“What would make it easier for my customer to buy?”

i.e.

You could offer products and services by price.

  • Less than $20;
  • Between $20 and $50;
  • Over $50;
  • Over $100.

You could offer your products and services by number.

  •  Grab one of these and get another one free.
  •  Buy 4 get the fifth one free.

You could offer your products and services with complimentary gift wrapping.

You could offer your products and services with free delivery.
(This is a major decider for those people who research and buy on-line.)

And one of the best I have seen was this one.
They are offering a set of three coupons which they sent to all their customers via email — in one mail-out:

  • Coupon 1 — 10% Off  (with an expiry date) and if it is used;
  • Coupon 2 — 12% Off  (with an expiry date) and if it is used;
  • Coupon 3 — 15% Off  (with an expiry date).

The best though was the company telling everyone these offers are only for their email subscribers and the offer IS NOT available unless
people were already on their list.

How’s that for exclusivity and what we call ‘the take-away offer’.

I have no doubt they made additional sales as people took advantage of the coupon email offer.

I also have no doubt they received additional sign-ups to their email lists as people would not wish to miss out on the next wave of offers.
