If you use email in your marketing arsenal then I have something very special for you today…

But first…

Yesterday’s email about me not liking muti-speaker events created quite a hive activity.

The open and click through rates the email achieved were up by a staggering 23.6% which just goes to show that if you get the headline right then people will read.

It also goes to show long emails work.  Yesterday’s email was long yet contained important facts people wished to know about.

And here is another interesting statistic –
77% of consumers wish to receive their permission-based marketing messages via email.

Today I would like you to take a look at these three email marketing principles to start your email marketing pumping.

  1. Take Time On Strategy:  I use an email step diagram to do this with my clients.  It is never about just one email;
  2. Test your emails from subject lines to times you send your emails to long and short emails.  Keep testing to see works best for your clients;    and
  3. Remember many people read emails via their mobile phones so the use of an email header is important.
