Yoda says, “Interesting, Some Were”

It seems Father’s Day remains as popular as ever. 

And why wouldn’t it be.  It gets marketed heavily by the retail stores.

During the week some people receiving my emails sent me their Father’s Day email campaigns to take a look at.  

As Yoda would say, “Interesting, Some Were.”

Overall the campaigns clearly showed what people were  selling yet, they were really just what I call, Email Brochures.

Email Brochures are like what you receive in the letterbox.
You know the one’s from Coles, Woolies or other supermarkets.

They lack personality. They lack the ability to bond with the customer and are easily forgotten.

Now don’t get me wrong here…

Will these Email Brochures sell ?

Probably…Probably not.

The question I ask is what happens on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th of September ?
When the need to grab Dad a present has disappeared.

Did these Email Brochures create a relationship with the customer or were they merely just a selling tool ?

Take heed of this ‘Kurtism’ – PEOPLE BUY FROM FRIENDS.
